Looking for a weathered outside mirror for my '24 Touring (the mirror that goes on the windshield post).
I'm about to install a top and will need the mirror for the passenger side. I know the vendors sell them, but I'm looking for something that will compliment the weathered look of my car.
Thanks,
Don

Hi Don. I have an original one in my stash that might work for your needs. Still has remnants of black paint. I will get you a photo this evening.

Hi Don. Please let me know if this is what you are looking for. It does have the dark worn spot on the mirror. If you want it, it is free. Pick-up in Kingwood. Thanks. Mike

There you go Don. Lovely patina. If you cant live with the mirror glass fault, about the only way around it is to fix a new glass over the existing one. The original is fitted by spinning the brass retainer ring to the glass/mirror head, and it cannot be easily removed.

You’re right Allan...the patina is lovely. I’ll be happy to live with the black spot.Allan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 9:53 pmThere you go Don. Lovely patina. This will be the second item Mike has given me. He represents the very best of our hobby. I’ve tried to follow his lead by doing the same.
