Does anybody out there in T Model country have a manual for the TT rear axle that you'd be willing to sell to me or make a
copy? I need to tear into mine and replace the gears (7 1/4:1 to 5 1/6:1). Some literature would help so I won't be totally winging it. Please send me a pm if you can help. Thank you. Bob

I'd be interested too in info on these beasts. I've taken several apart now and will need to put together a good one pretty soon.
They appear pretty straightforward but you know what happens when you assume.

Re: TT Truck rear axle literature
To me there is two things you will need. One is the Ruckstell Manual from the MTFCA. Here is the link:
https://modeltstore.myshopify.com/produ ... ce-manuals
Even though it is for the Ruckstell rear end, it still has the specs. for the parts for the standard rear end like; axel, bearings, sleeves, axel drive gears, spider gears, spider gear housing, top section of the rear end where the worm gear is, bronze ring gear, and so on. The worm gear assembly for the Ruckstell is the same as the standard rear end and the manual covers that section very well.
The other is Vowel Art on the MTFCA website here is the link for the Model TT stuff (scroll down). It has a good diagram of the rear end for parts, and assembly.

Also, if you have taken a rear end apart, I hope you took many pictures of how it goes together. I did and that really helps. So, that a look at both links and see what you thing. But the standard rear end is really simple to put together. Much simpler than the Model T rear end.

Hi, Steven. I've ordered the Ruckstell manual as you suggested. Thanks. Bob
