4 old stock top bows for sale

Post by Dropacent » Sat Jul 31, 2021 4:18 pm

Bump…..EASLILY SHORTENED! Way back, most tops shops had half bows in stock. These were steam bent half bows, with a steep angle cut. They would splice together, some good glue and screws and fine wire wrapped. Stagger the joints, Last forever. Please check out the crude sketch at the bottom here! In this space age, some titebond III , small screws and fine stainless steel wire would do the trick. If you need bows, price them out first and $100 will buy these. …………."………………….. ORIGINAL AD: These were wired together and I saved them from powder post beetles in a barn find stash. I sprayed them good , and they’ve been hanging in my place for about 15 years now, without any further damage visible. I’m betting they are perfectly usable and the real deal! You’re betting, too if you take them for $125. NOW $100 !! I can ship ( ouch) or deliver for free to the Ohio jamboree at the end of the month. Don’t know what they are for but it was an all ford pile. Tmorsher@icloud.com to take the bet!
