Spare Rim
Looking for a rim to use for a spare on my 1922 Touring. It's one of the things that was missing when I purchased the car. I'm on Long Island and to find one local might be best. I will travel if need be though.

Re: Spare Rim
Not all rims are the same and need to match the fellow. Pictures of the one that includes the wheel clamps (head one and a bit of a side profile) might help ID it. Might try to contact Dennis in Burlington Conn https://mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php? ... on#p124614

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Re: Spare Rim
There were at least four rim manufactures, 3 inch, 3 1/2 inch, wood felloe, steel felloe, non demountable and demountable, Do you want to just carry around a rim for show or carry a complete spare with tire mounted?

There are also a variety of Chevrolet rims that fit.

Re: Spare Rim
Appears to be a Hayes wheel.

Re: Spare Rim
The mounted tyre is on a Hayes rim. That usually means any of the other Ford fixed lug rims will be suitable if another Hayes rim is not forthcoming.
The reverse swap, Hayes to Ford wheels, is not always on due to the 'foot' on the Hayes rim lugs not clearing the edge of the felloe.
