Post by Myxr6turbo » Tue Oct 12, 2021 7:30 pm

Is there anyone in Australia (Melbourne) that has a low speed drum for sale?

Thanks,

Shawn, I can help, but there's no way I am moving to Melbourne! You are as near as the post office for deliveries.

Bahahahaha. What's wrong with Melbourne? Its only the longest locked down place in the world. :)

Can you send me a message with a price to 3109?

Many thanks.

Have a really nice one put aside. No grooves, no rust, nice gear and negligible wear on the gar shaft. Phone me on 0403 zero zero 3 9 zero zero.

I'm going to jump in here - Allan, if you have another low speed drum, I'm after one too!

Jack, I'll go back to digging in the pile. I knew of the one i picked out for Shawn. There are others, but I will have to check on their condition.

Thank you Allan,

I'm also after a 26-27 driving plate. I have one in good condition but it is the earlier type and can't be used with the wider brake drum.

Best regards

Jack

It can be used. Cut down the OD & elongate the 6 mounting holes to match the drum hole pattern.

True, but I'd rather save it for someone who can use it as it is, and hopefully I'll track down the correct part.
