Are you Model T owner within the European Union? Do you need a new set of rebuild coils?

I'm situated in Denmark and do rebuild of Model T coils.

Prices are depending on exchange basis so that old coils must be send in advance. Below is prices exclusive VAT, which varies depending on your country.

1 coil 60,00 EUR
4 coils 230,00 EUR
5 coils 280,00 EUR

In case you do not have core coils to send in advance OR the ones you send do not pass the CT-2 test of the high tension circuit I will charge 30 EUR to supply a valid core.
You will normally not get the same coils back, as I have readily rebuild coils on stock to send. If you are emotionally attached to you coils, you can get them back, but the delivery time may be a couple of weeks.

This is what is done in the refurbish process:
  • Remove old points
  • Opening of coil
  • Replace capacitor with new with the correct dV/dT values
  • Retar the inner void to keep the components firmly in place during use. Tar used is the right type (asphalt)
  • Close coil again
  • Briefly clean and sand the surface of the coil
  • Paint top black
  • Treat other surfaces with linnen oil
  • Mount new points
  • Adjust points with ECCT to a dwell of 2ms and no double sparks
Feel free to contact me if you have questions.
