#8-36 Round Head Screws

Post by Rich Eagle » Wed Dec 08, 2021 5:32 pm

I determined that the Holley G and NH used #8-36 screws in the throttle arms. Two carburetor guys confirmed this with me. While many folks have re-tapped theirs with #8-32 threads I searched out some #8-36's and bought the minimum orders of the sizes available. The carbs I had used round heads but early Holley's used filisters. I found differing lengths on different carbs.

What I ordered were 3/8", 5/8" and 1" long ones. I cut them down to match what I need. I have what I need and have had my fun with them and sent some to friends. In a generous mood today I will mail up to any 5 of these for free or up to 10 for a dollar while they last. Send me your shipping address and what length you need.
Again, these are Round head #8-36 screws. They say Cad Plate but are a dull silver finish.

Richard, I don't need any, but you mentioned they were #8-36, then said #8-32 in your last sentence. Could you edit your post so that there's no confusion? Thanks! :)

No charge for 5 or less. My wife says we can pay the postage.
Just send a mailing address to my Email joyful.... as shown above.
For 6-10 send a dollar or check or postage stamps to:
Rich Eagle
2556 E. Lincoln Rd
Idaho Falls, ID 83401
Or PayPal to this same Email address.
You can wait for the screws arrive to send it.
We have ordered some small envelopes that should mail reasonably but it may take a few days for them to arrive.
I gave some thought as to how to charge for things not worth the cost of mailing and this is my best plan.
I'll do my best to keep track. Keep an eye on me.
Rich

Thanks John.
The envelopes arrived. I'll send the first orders out tomorrow.
Thanks for saving those carburetor threads.
