Re: Holley NH center drain carburetor
Corey, can you tell me when the short arm verses the long arm change was made and why?

Re: Holley NH center drain carburetor
Around 1923, the same time the center drain started but there was some overlap where the long arms remained for a while. At first the added 2 slots to the bottom of the casting to let the gas drain, then they changed the casting altogether to make it so the air bleed under the id tag required only drilling one hole. I’m not sure why they changed. Maybe to save a little material since they were simplifying it. The old style air bleed had one crossways hole drilled then plugged.

Re: Holley NH center drain carburetor
Good info Corey, so for my 1924, which is correct, the long or short arm?
