A frontnac, & you are considering a clip on ??
You should be asking for a bosch front plate & iron 009 for parts ease or an original for correctness.

Re: Distributor wtb
My 25 cents worth. Most reliable and easy to work with clip on is an Atwater Kent LA distributor . They are made of a quality metal that really holds together well , unlike the Tornado's, Delco's and some Bosch Clip-ons where the pot metal cracks over time. Caps and rotors are a bit tough to find , but they are out there. Looks wise, me thinks a clip-on would look very paltry and weak on a Fronty equipped engine. A Bosch front plate would be top contender indeed if you were to go with a Distributor versus a side drive magneto.
