Friend pulled this off a 1914 Touring owned by Harold Johnson of Salem Oregon made by Gray + Davis needs chain that ran from crank pulley gear up to motor -has two numbers on tags NO.2442366 and NO.1391467 - $400.00 ? call Matt 503-824-2681

What is in the box on top of the starter housing? Do you know that it works?

Matt, may I suggest you show a close up picture of the electrical junction box that Jack is referring to . I have a model 301 that is very similar to yours. Both would have a junction box where the wiring for the lights and harness all meet up. Usually this box is supposed to be mounted on the firewall but perhaps by happy circumstance, maybe it is attached to your unit ?

the box on top is a brake switch that they had wired into the system to make it operate my friend said it did engauge would be best to find someone with one to figure out operation.
