FS. Rebuilt Open Valve Style T Engine
Hello All,
Well it's time to sell the Open Valve Style T engine. I am not a knowledgeable person in regards to Model T engines. Thanks to some MTFCA members for their help towards identifying the engine.
When i acquired the engine i was told the following:
"Model T hot redder Ron Kippling owned it. Yes, its a later block made to look old. This is what I have on it..... Yes rebuilt with I think 30 over pistons look at the top of them. It was done many years ago. I would call it a short block. With no pan? Chevrolet dippers on end of rods. More oil to splash around when together. The head is correct I think. No USA ON TOP like later years.new babbitt."
After posting an ad in the General Discussion Forum of this site I had lots of GREAT members chip on with their help. The site won't let me post the link. The initial post was What year head and era of block. I posted this in the general information tab on 2/28/22. Please refer to that.
I was also emailed by a member that they feel my engine is most likely a repro block cast by Sandy McTavish in Canada. I think that member may be correct.
Needless to say I am listing it for sale for $3,750 USD. BUYER TO ARRANGE SHIPPING. I am willing to take the engine to any shop (in the U.S.) within 50 miles of 98225, Bellingham, WA at buyers expense to have the engine inspected. In regards with shipping. I am happy to drop off the engine at any shipping depot within 50 miles (in the U.S.) of 98225, Bellingham, WA.
Emails to a64f@hotmail.com or PM on this site. From there we can arrange a phone call. Andrew

Re: FS. Rebuilt Open Valve Style T Engine
I would say its a later block made to look old. Really hard to know which year is? May someone have better accurency in the goal to help the future buyer or actual vendor.
