WTB 5-Z- TOOLS
Thanks to some great people, my list of wanted tools is getting smaller. Still looking for: 5-Z-162 cam gear lock nut wrench, 5-Z-193 spindle cone adjusting open end wrench, 5-Z-206 rear axle nut wrench, & 5-Z-325 con. rod cap bolt nut brace wrench for #4 connecting rod.
I am not smart enough to transfer the photo from the May 1925 parts list to here. Thank you for any help you can give to help me locate these tools.

Re: WTB 5-Z- TOOLS
5-Z-325 is a "T" shaped wrench with a universal joint 5/8" socket for the #4 connecting rod cap, not a brace wrench. It is shown on page 602 of Bruce's big black book. On page 603 there is an error in the description for 5-Z-325. 3-Z-2304 is a brace wrench with a universal joint 5/8" socket for #4 connecting rod cap. (A brace wrench is what we also call a "speed wrench".)

Re: WTB 5-Z- TOOLS
Jim, I am going by the May '25 parts book. It shows the 5-Z-325 to be a brace wrench on the tool photo page. It is listed that way as well in the earlier parts books when the 5-Z tools came about. That doesn't mean it was ever produced I suppose. I have never held one in my hand. I do have the T- handle 325 wrench.

Re: WTB 5-Z- TOOLS
This is the best I can do for photos. They are from May 1925 parts book.

Darryl,
This is the picture and tool list from the May 1925 Wholesale Parts List. Are you trying to find every tool in the picture?

If you "click" on the list and picture they are easier to read.

Re: WTB 5-Z- TOOLS
Apparently FORD Motor Co. changed the brace wrench 3-Z-2304 to 5-Z-325.
Then, both types of wrenches with the 5/8"socket and a universal joint have the same number.

Re: WTB 5-Z- TOOLS
Yes Jim I am collecting every tool in the catalog for 1925, and I am down to finding these last four tools. 5-Z-162, 5-Z-193, 5-Z-206,& 5-Z-325 Brace Wrench. Although I really want to try to find 5-Z tools, I would buy a 3-Z tool in its place if that is all I can find. Thank you for posting the list and the photos of the tools. I don't know how to copy it from Cimorelli's and post it here. When I finally get them all, I will mount them in a display to show with my '25 Runabout.
