Stevens Tapered Reamers??? UPDATE

Post by Dan Hatch » Mon May 02, 2022 6:33 pm

I have been getting a number of inquiries for my Stevens Tapered Upper Reamers. I am considering another run. Due to increased cost the price is going to be in neighborhood of $250.00 + shipping.
I will need at least 7 orders for this to happen.
Email me at address in pictures to reply.
If I get enough interest I will look into another run of reamers/taps.
Thanks Dan
I HAVE 2 REAMERS LEFT as of 5/23/22.
If you want one speak now.

Come on gals & guys we need to get to at least 7. If you have an original reamer you’re on borrowed time plus you should see the one Dan has reproduced. It’s longer so that it can be sharpened, really a quality piece and yes I’m being selfish I’d like to have at least one more before they are not available.

Dan, Are they the straight taper, or the spiral cut that draws itself into the hole?

Dan thanks for doing this.
Hey Forum if you even think that you may need a reamer for your Stevens tool, you need to get in contact with Dan so he can add to the order before it’s too late. More than likely this will be a last chance opportunity. Best John

I agree with JTT3. If you think you may ever need another set, I would get on this boat before it sails. Even with proper use the reamer's do not last forever. The original taper reamer's are made of unobtanium. Dan's taper reamer's have been the only likely way to make a Steven's Front Axle tool complete and usable. His reamer's are top notch items. Thanks Dan,for making them available one more time. Now I can have a complete back up set.

Hi Dan
You have 2 threads:
1 tapered
2 front axle
Are they the same? If not what's the tapered unit used for?
Thanks
John
