Re: WTB : Main caps and bolts/nuts
Chad, I have a box full of main bolts with nuts that are used but appear to be good. I also have a set of re-babbetted main caps that are .010 over. I am in Rhinebeck. You are welcome to come and look for yourself.

Re: WTB : Main caps and bolts/nuts
@John iaccino, Thank you for the offer. I don't think the rebabbitted caps will suit me for a new build with a Scat crank. I may hit you up on bolts though.

Chad:
the .010" "over" caps that John has should work for your application , assuming that you have re-babbitted the block and have to linebore ... opposite to the terminology i would use , the "over size" term for bearings in automotive use seems to mean a smaller diameter than "standard " ... so i would assume the .010" oversize diameter would be 1.240" to fit a 1.2385 diameter crankshaft ... your standard Scat crankshaft will be 1.2485" diameter ... this allows for boring .005" per side to finish diameter ...always an optimist ...Gene French

Chad:
not sure what is meant by the term " uncut " main caps , but if you need re-babbitted caps that are not bored then i can supply a set of re-babbitted caps that are cast at 1 1/8" diameter and .03" excess material on each thrust surface for finish boring and cutting of the thrust clearance ... always an optimist ...Gene French

Re: WTB : Main caps and bolts/nuts
What I meant by uncut was not filed on the mating surface.
Still looking for a set of reasonable cores and bolts. Thank You
