For Sale: OT- Very Early NOS Box of Westinghouse/Mazda Light Bulbs

Post by Larry » Fri Jan 11, 2019 6:08 pm

This is the earliest box of bulbs I've ever had. Box shows patent dates from 1904 to 1914. The box and the bulbs are in beautiful condition. Bulbs are quite large and are a 9 volt bulb. $100 plus shipping.

Larry... are these bulbs double contact? It appears they probably are, but can't tell clearly in the picture.

In case you are going to use them, I have seen suggested to run something like super glue around where the globe meets the base. It will help keep the two parts from twisting apart.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Mark... I've done that with other bulbs, but I used clear Devcon. It's a good thing to do for sure.
