Moore overdrive transmission F/S
Marked OD for overdrive on the case, not one of the much more common underdrive ratios, made for TT truck but readily adapted to car use. 2 speed unit direct- full neutral and over drive. $650, will have at Auburn CA Swap Meet in June if not sold or can store and deliver there.

Re: Moore overdrive transmission F/S
Layden, there's something a bit weird going on there. It looks good at first, but then the hookup for the shifter linkage is the wrong way round. The hole should be at the front. Perhaps that needs investigating to avoid any potential problems with the purchase. It is easily fixed, but the reason for it to be fitted this way eludes me.
The under drive Moore I have in my roadster is awesome. I get a higher rear ratio by running a 3:1 crownwheel and pinion set.

Re: Moore overdrive transmission F/S
This transmission seems to have been reassembled with the shift rod sticking out the wrong way!
Brazed places seem to have been done to seal the case as they put in oversized bolts to hold it together. Actually a well done job.
Very good condition gears. Yes it is an overdrive.
