WTB side Lamp Reflector
After years of false starts, overstated product, and eBay bidding wars for complete lamps that were not right…
I am finally but one piece shy of a genuine set of E&J #8 lamps.
Yeah I know…but if anyone has a scrap lamp or a rusty reflector, or even a decent one…shoot me a PM?
I only need the reflector, but would consider a whole donor lamp regardless of condition (or if you have one but your car takes the cubed one…I’ve also got lots of later stuff to swap if you want….lol
Go look!
Thanks,
George

Re: WTB side Lamp Reflector
George, I have never seen a steel reflector like that. Usually they are mill finish, nickel plated brass. You have a rare one, perhaps.
Allan from down under.

No, standard early E & J - I'll look George - I might have an orphan or two.

Re: WTB side Lamp Reflector
Allan…I too was a bit surprised when I found this and dusted off the crud. Then being me, I stood there for a long time just staring…this pup is steel, spun one piece at that except for the font base ring, how did they do that? I may not have an answer…but it’s fun to think!
Rajo (S). Thanks for saying you’d look…maybe get lucky?

Robbie,
I may not have terminology right.
The bottom has a sort of spring loaded lock washer with 6 holes in the ring, but only 3 rivits as original done, only 3 holes in the ‘globe”.
