I got a text from that number today… All the words were in all caps so that was a red flag for me..!

I received a text today answering my WTB top irons for my 25 Roadster and it was from that number. I asked his name from the forum and so far crickets. Glad this was posted, still looking.

I received a txt this morning from said number responding to my ad, this is just one of many many scammers now targeting this forums members.

Be safe and very careful!

Just a few recommendations: Ask for MTFCA Membership number, name and pictures, then ask for a certain type of picture with item. If they are legit, they will accommodate quickly, broken English is a RED flag and pricing too good to be true is another read flag. Only offer payment with a trusted source if you do not know them, such as PayPal ( no friends and family option) were you can get a refund if they’re not legit. Best to ask others on the forum if anyone knows them or have done business with them prior. Not getting to make a purchase is no big deal, being scammed could be a big deal.

DO NOT PUT YOUR EMAIL OR PHONE NUMBER IN THE ADS. Anyone can read the ads without being a member or signing in and get them. Doing so, you just open the door and make it easy to reach out to you.
