Hello
I am looking for a pair of ‘26-27 Stanchions. Preferably not real good, be fine if they are cut down, as that is what I am going to do with them. I want to have a low windshield option for my Roadster.
Thank you in advance.

If you are going to cut a pair, Speedway makes or used to make an excellent pair of steel 26-27 stanchions with the steel inserts for maybe $110 pair. The also make a 26-27 one piece windshield frame with a 4 inch chop and the correctly positioned pivot point near the top. It fits nicely on the stanchions you will chop and fit to your coel. Now I hate new hot rod stuff, so I cant believe I'm even recommending Speedway, but these really worked great for me on the buildup of an "original" rusty psitined speedster I put together.

Thanks, I did see those, but I thought they were cast aluminum. I will check again. I will go that route if I cannot find a damaged set. I don’t want to cut up a good set (or mine) if I can help it. Good original ‘26/‘27 body parts are hard enough to find without cutting them up. (My .02, others will vary).
