Essex front end

Post by brian2264 » Sun Nov 06, 2022 10:46 am

I bought a boat tail speedster project that has an Essex front end in it. I believe that was a period correct set up for speedsters but I'm going a different direction with drop axle and reverse eye spring to lower it. I'm looking to sell this set up but not sure the value. Open to advice and or offers. I'm in barneveld ny

Why not use it? Nice style. Minus springs and wheels, paid 250 for mine.

Looks like a dropped front end like the later old school hot rods. Kinda neat.
