Currently acquiring parts for my 11 yr old son's 1914-ish Model T speedster build. My buddy recently got him a '19 block and the kiddo would like to run a non generator setup.

Looking for:
T-1769 cover plate (non generator bracket)
non-generator timing cover with oil fill tube
pair of brass headlamps that are good enough to get them functional (not looking for show pieces)

Thanks for looking in your parts stashes. I have T and A parts to trade if interested, but it's mostly common parts from the 20's on.

Not sure if I have anything other than a son in a similar boat, wait are we talking boat tails? He is almost 8 and has started collecting parts for his first car. So far there is a frame, engine (1915), ignition (side drive du-4), winfield, aluminum hoggshead, early pan, front axle and a few other misc. Im not sure if I will help him start out on an overhead (I have a 28 chevy) or go flathead. At a younger age is a great time to start sourcing the more hard to find parts rather than the stock parts. Im letting him decide what the body style will be. He will probably in the next year be looking for some aux gearing whether a ruxtel, warford or? Think of it as building a chassis and the last step is the body although with a speedster a good bit of thought should go into the chassis. If you would like and advice feel free to send a message or reply.
