Re: Wanted Stromberg O-F carb
I see you want a rebuilt one but just sent you an email with link to one on eBay. I just noticed the one on eBay is missing both needles.
There is also this one;

that OF missing the slow/fast needles is for a Willys. It is not a "T" carb, though it will be confused as one by most everyone who looks.
once it gets a new set of these, it will be complete, but there are so few Willys folks around, who knows?

Re: Wanted Stromberg O-F carb
My understanding is the "OF" was only made for Fords. How can you tell it is for a Willys not a Ford?

Ed has clearly shown the difference on the casting machining. Also, look at his upper picture and see that the Willys throttle arm has a "crink" in it to shorten it and change the throttle input geometry to adapt to a shorter input.

After the glass bowl era, Strombergs generally all take the same float bowl cover (either cast or sheet metal depending on vintage).
The OE-1 Was a Studebaker carb and that cover would have come on it. Insofar as they are interchangeable, it migrated onto a Willys carb, apparently.
Right now, Ed Martin is selling a Stromberg LF which sports the cast version of the cover if you want to check his ad for comparison: https://mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32931

Re: Wanted Stromberg O-F carb
That's my auction listing. Indeed, that carburetor is almost certainly off a Willys-Overland Light Four, Model 91, 92, or Redbird. Stromberg the OF (and later the RF) for both Ford and Overland. Stromberg supplied Willys-Knight with either an OD-1 or an OS-2 depending on year.
The float bowl cover says "Studebaker model" because that was the cleanest spare one I had on hand. All of the O and O-related float covers and floats interchange except the OTs. Studebaker Light Sixes used the "Studebaker model" OE-1, but they were sold as OEM or aftermarket for a lot of cars.
I'll add to the auction description.

Thank you all for info and leads. I had no idea these carbs brought the $$ that they do. For now, I am going to look for a cheaper alternative. Thank you.

What price range were you hoping to find one for? I know there are some guys still watching this.
