WTB Small Drum Rear End

I am helping an 87-year-old new Model T owner get his 1920 coupe drivable, and the rear end is shot. Wheels were loose and now the axle taper, keyway, and hubs are wallerd out, spring perches are almost worn thru, rear springs are wrong, and who knows what else is bad. I will help him rebuild it but I would prefer to spend my time on a better core. Located in Northern Michigan in Charlevoix. Personally, I would wait for an auction or swap meet, but the owner is 87 and time is of the essence.

I have several small drum axle housings, some ring & pinion gears, a used differential housing, some axle gears (1 NORS). Also Hyatts with loose cages with their matching sleeves. No spider or spider gears or axle shafts. But distance matters so .... just thought I'd mention it. Part swap/trade is possible. Your 11 hours away and its winter....uggg!

Jeff, I just pulled the innards out of a 26 rear axle that I had rebuilt ten years ago and never used it, went to a ruckstel last week so I needed one half of the rear axle and driveshaft, I do have plenty of cases and an extra driveshaft.

Thanks for the replies. My preference would be to find a rebuildable core in northern Michigan, if none are available I can travel farther but this time of year it is not so desirable to do so.

Jeff if you are heading south as far as Bay City, I should be able to help you out. I have housings, axles and differentials just a little short on bearings. I can do some digging to check on perches and hubs if necessary.
