WTB 1912 forward passenger door frame striker

Post by NealW » Thu Dec 01, 2022 11:10 am

The late 1911/early model year 1912 touring car that I restored originally came equipped with removable front doors. I have a set of Baudette built doors that fit the Baudette body on the car, but I need to find a passenger door frame striker that looks like the picture below.

Please contact me if you have a 1912 or 1913 (if it is the same) a door frame striker like this that you would be willing to sell.

Thanks,

Neal

Neal, try The craftsman, Ray Wells. He provided the striker plate in your picture.

I did. Wells referred me to Chaffins, who gets the whole striker/latch assembly from a guy who makes them as a set. I talked to Chaffins and they checked with the guy who makes them about just providing a striker and I believe that they never got a response from him when I followed up later.
