The Model T drive shaft sleeve is one of the most difficult parts to remove without damaging the driveshaft or the driveshaft thrust bearing. Some mechanics try to remove the drive shaft roller bearing sleeve with a hammer and chisel. Others try to cut the sleeve using a Dremel and cutoff tool. Many times when they finally get the sleeve off the driveshaft is damaged and often times ruined. The Stevens drive shaft sleeve puller is designed to remove the sleeve without damaging the drive shaft or the pinion nut threads. It works very well and is the best way to remove this sleeve.
