This one needs some work but should be worth saving.
This has the thumbprint boss on the back.
Nice crisp Ford logo cast in and the Made in USA.
Square casting mark near the water outlet.
The bad thing is it has a freeze crack and the number 2 spark plug threads don’t look the best. I threaded a spark plug in it and it snugged up. I didn’t want to tighten it up too much.

This is a 1913 head. The thick script and the visible “relocation” of “made in usa” are 1913 features (you can see where “made in usa” was below the script as added in 1912, then chiseled out of the mould and moved). Good that you didn’t scrap it. Someone should be happy to have it, even with the cracks.
