Looking for all 6 correct carriage bolts for my 1914 Touring, the ones from the bracket to firewall.
They have a high dome heads.
They are 5/16.
The graph paper is 1/4.
The holes do lineup it was how I was holding with one hand and taking photo with other.

People who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full, miss the point. The glass is refillable.

I’m sure you might know this but an alternative is use a carriage bolt and reshape the head a little to make it look like an original. If you go to an older farm or dealership store they might have some non-plated bolts you can use.
One of the T suppliers use to have some correct carriage bolts they would sell. Maybe they still do.

I have a friend who is having the same problem. I'm not sure if the bolt you have pictured is correct. From what I've been able to find out the head diameter is 13/16. Ford bolts appear to be a cross between a carriage bolt and a step bolt.

Some of Gail's research is in the latest Model T Judging Guidelines, and I believe when I was reading it recently it says the heads are 13/16".
