James...if you're describing the two prop nuts that are on the rear most top iron attachments, I do believe they should not be brass per judging specs. I had brass prop nuts on my '13 Touring (they sure looked pretty! LOL) during an International judging event a while back and it cost me 2 points! Judge said they were to be black, so I would assume the same would go for a '14. Just sayin!

I concur Tim. All 4 of my top prop nuts on my two 1914s are black. But I’ve recognized on tours that many people like ‘bling, bling’. To each his own 😁
I don’t know why I turned out this way. My parents were decent people 🤪

Thank guys for the input, this is my 3rd 14 and yes 1 was black I left it alone and decided for the brass on the other two and my 12 which is ok. MTFCI Judge standards are fine for the purist mine are drivers and get alot of attention but those people don't pick my cars apart. Yes to each his own. George what the hell is bling bling?

I do agree with you and George...thats why the brass prop nuts are still on my '13!
And bling bling is slang for fancy shiny things added to something to give it "pizzazz".

I have a 14 Touring and my top prop nuts were black, but beat up and starting to rust. I spent about $20 and got some new brass nuts and they look really nice on the car. I don't take my car to the shows, but I take drive it to the store and the people in the parking lot have never taken any points off for a little extra bling on my car. :-)
