for sale- on ebay new old stock front wheel bearings, I believe there is only 3 NOS Timken 09075 Wheel Bearing Front Left Outer 1909-1927 Ford Model T. I have nothing to do with this post. Good luck

I do not see what you are talking about, the post I shared is for a timken 09075 threaded wheel bearing, and again, I do not have anything to do with this post.

I have used them on a T years ago and had no trouble.

Last I knew R.A. didn't have one side, I got one that they had, have to go look which one, I forgot which one they hadn't had for over a year. I like to keep both Left & Right outer at least in stock.

I got an email from rock auto a couple months ago, the out of stock front outer bearing is now in stock

I have had Model A wheel bearing on all three of my cars. I drive them on tours every year and have never had a problem. They say it will hurt your spindles but after having them on all my cars for over twenty years the spindles look just like they did originally. Maybe I am in error using them but so far things are good.

Larry, you are the fortunate exception. Unrestrained, and sitting on the crests of threads, unlocked from rotation in any way, they usually will put moderate to severe wear on the spindle threads upon which they sit. This completely ruins spindles, and is particularly tragic when it happens to early, rare parts. Getting away with something with good luck is, I hope, not an endorsement that it is good practice. If the spindle was ground round, for a solid and precision fit of the bearings, that would be an entirely different story. Hopefully, you will continue with your luck.

Thank you for the information about using slip on wheel bearings and possibly problems.. In the 1950s and 60s, it was known that Model A and early VB Ford front bearings would work and were used. They were not expensive and many of us had some NOS ones sitting around. I used them on at least some of the numerous Ts I have had. I did run into NOS correct ones, but I was not concerned about using the later ones. My 1910 uses ball bearings.
