Preface the subject with FS: or For Sale: or WTB gives a clear indication of your intention

Good: FS: 1921 sidelights, excellent condition
Bad: Sidelights

Good: FS: Sherman Head fits late car, excl condition
Bad: Head

Good: WTB: fenders for 1921 Touring, need all 4
Bad: I'm looking for fenders

WTB is short for Want To Buy

When your item sells make sure you note it in a final post or modify the subject of the original post

FS: 1921 sidelights, excellent condition *sold*

I personally avoid reading post with missing FS, WTB, etc

I will sometimes send the person a note to add missing information. If someone is looking for X part and don't say wanted, I generally would not look at the post if it is something I don't need, being that most all the ads here are parts for sale.

I wish all “for sale” listings had pictures.

It is nice to have ads shown for items that have been sold, and marked sold, because it gives future sellers of similar items a ballpark idea of what a part's value may be.

One more thing sell something p I ease mark it sold pending or something

YES, I do not trust items for sale if there are no listed pictures. Putting pictures on this site is real easy to do.

If you are the seller, just click on the pencil to the right to edit the subject line and add the word SOLD

Vertical pictures always get me a yellow triangle. Only horizontal pictures work for me, so that may be your problem.
