I collect antique bikes and picked this up a while ago. I don't know anything about them apart from that they came off of a wooden rimmed safety bicycle so they period correct for a T. Let me explain how they work so that you can picture it. As they are laying in the photos, the left mounts to the front bicycle axle, the angled portion at the top matches the curve of the front forks. The right bracket mounts to the rear axle on the bike. The u shaped brackets then drop down onto the bumper of the car. The top bolt on the brackets is tightened onto the bumper to keep the bike from moving back and forth. The lower wingnutted bolts go under the bumper to keep the bike from coming off. I will take $65 plus shipping.

Key word in explanation of "how they work" is bumper. 9 out of 10 Ford model T's do NOT have bumpers - Henry didn't sell them like that.

Being pedantic is fun; let me try. You said that 9 out or ten "do NOT" have bumpers. Well, there were 15 million model T s built so that means that 1.5 million model t's had bumpers. That is still a lot of cars. Of course, this rack could have been used on any number of cars in the period but since there were more Fords on the road than anything else it is entirely possible that this was used on a Model T and furthermore, it is certain that it will work on a Model T with bumpers.

Well, I'd say that would be a more difficult fit but with careful application of a few rolls of duct tape it might just work.
