I would like to buy four number 777 valve stems for my 30X3.5 tubes.
I think that they will fit through the hole in the wheel.
The rubber stems on my new tubes don't.

You shouldn't have a problem. They oftentimes show up at swap meets. Keep in mind that Schrader is not the only company that made them. Dill and Bridgeport also made them.

John, 888 stems are the same size, but I believe a little longer. This may widen the field for you. I have just fitted two 888 stems to tubes for my own use.
Hope this helps.

Schraeder 777s are about 1/4 inch longer than 888s. :)

Thanks Mark. I knew they were a different length, but not which way.

I would be happy with the 888 or 777.
My car is a 15 so I would prefer the knurled parts.
Any one out there willing to sell me four sets?
