I am taking orders for new McLaren wire wheels with free delivery to Hershey or any location along the way from Iowa to Hershey. I currently have all of the components in stock so fulfilling orders without delay is not an issue. UPS is currently charging over $60 per wheel so this is great way to get wheels hand delivered at substantial savings. The wheels are 30x3.5 clincher type and I can produce 30x3.0 is you wish.

More information: McLaren wire wheels do not require special hubs or locking caps. They simply use a set of good usable Model T front and rear wood wheel hubs stripped of all their wood, bolts, and faceplate. These hubs are readily available and provided by the customer. I provide all of the hardware to convert those hubs to accept the new wire wheels.

Availability update: I have supplies on hand to build 25-30x3.5 McLaren wire wheels at the price of $825 each. My spoke supplier, foundry, and machinist providers have notified me of price increases that are not inconsequential. That said I will have to increase prices once my current stock of components is depleted. As of today I have orders for 10 of the 25 wheels I mentioned above. I can provide person to person delivery to Hershey which basically saves the customer anywhere from $60-$70 per wheel in UPS shipping costs plus you are assured gentle responsible handling by me.
