I have two 30x3 1/2 tires fs. There's no name but made in Australia. These have excellent tread left on them, and still very plyable. 90.00 for both plus shipping

Those look like Olympics. Great durable tires.

They do look like our Olympics. They are indeed durable, and if you can match them with Olympic Butyl tubes, they will hold air too. The Australian made Olympic tyres were last made in the early 1970's

The moulds ended up in the USA. I have seen tyres branded Lucas where the original Olympic was moulded, and some with a blank at the same spot. I have no idea where they were made, but it would appear they forgot to remove "Made in Australia" from the mould.

I have just fitted 5 new Olympics to spare rims. Over the 50 years since they were made, they had shrunk almost 3" in circumference, so could never be just levered on to rims. I spent some time stretching them on mounted modern wheels of varying diameters, finally stretching them further on a split 23" Chev rim. If these have shrunk somewhat, they may need the same attention. It is well worth the effort if they are as good as Olympics.
