A Local Church has received a donation of a vintage Clyde Mag Re-Charger and Tester, they are wishing to learn what the value might be if they sell it. They are very much considering gifting it to a local non profit old car museum but they would like some opinions on the approximate value. Your comments would be must appreciated.

I grew up in Omaha and could not resist doing some research. I did not find information on Clyde Manufacturing except a listing of Edward Clyde in a city directory. But there was a new Ford dealership, McFayden Ford, that opened on the site where Clyde Manufacturing once stood. They opened in 1946 and closed in the 1980's.

This is the old McFayden Stewart Ford dealership in 1934. Could this be the building where Clyde Manufacturing made the coil tester?

Actually, 2039 Howard would be that building on the far right in this photo, under the "Cook Electrically" sign. Oh well, the Ford dealership is interesting.
