Looking for a decent pair of black side lamps for a 1916 T. Nothing rusted or damaged please.

Original clear glass that has tinted purple over time.
It would be a shame to restore these lights.
They belong on a "barn find"

No restoration here: my T is true all original; I was just concerned that someone put red glass doors on them

Those are a fine looking set for an original T.
Good luck.

Early clear glass contained a certain amount of manganese. When exposed to sunlight, over many years, the manganese begins to outgas within the glass. This event reflects light in the purple spectrum.
If the glass were to be melted and remolded, the glass would return to clear.
Friends, don't try this at home.
