Looking for an engine stand adapter like the venders used to sell. All out of stock for years.

Hi Dan. I have one I made as a second that functionally is the same. It has been drilled for the bolts to mount at the water jacket and has the pins that align into the pan holes. I never drilled it for the engine stand because I never mounted it on my stand (I didn't need to hang two engines at the same time).
I can send a picture tomorrow if you are interested. You can have it for $30 plus actual postage. It can fit in a flat rate padded envelope. I'm attaching my contact info; please send an email and I'll get a picture to you.

Hi Dan,
I'd check out Gary's the price is great. But for others that missed out this is what I came up with for my cheap budget. Using a $30 swap meet
engine stand & a little ingenuity I came up with this. It's cheap & you can move the center of gravity ( engine only to engine & trans ) without
taking the engine off the stand. It will not work with every engine stand & requires some drilling & welding but not much work that you can't
find someone to help with if you can't do those yourself.
Craig.

I made one I'm using now, I need to adjust the bottom angle iron above the pan, not perfect but does the job. Just looking for the basic one as I want to start another engine I have at the same time. I could make another, but the one piece unit would be nice to have.

Engine stands come with the round tube / plate assembly and four arms to bolt up to pretty much any engine block. The adapter plate the vendors used to sell mounted to this, or fixed adapters; all you had to do was drill 4 holes for the arms to bolt to, or if your tube/plate assembly had fixed holes you’d drill the T adapter plate to match. The problem with one having a fixed tube is that not all angine stands have the same diameter tube, so an adapter plate has a fixed tube attached it only works with stands that accept that size tube. That’s why an adapter plate that bolts to the tube is more versatile, and why I built mine that way.
If you’re interested let me know, if not that’s fine too.

I called them last week and not in stock, Lang's and other venders don't show them out of stock on their web site also, but don't have then.

I'm looking for one like the venders sold that will fit both the Model T and the Model A like the one pictured above. Thanks for your offer though.
