Ruckstell parts just about a whole diff here the housing would need work need a tube. The guts are decent used the sliding clutch shows wear as well as the stock side of the carrier. Bearing needs replacing $800 plus the ride from pleasant prairie wisconsin or local pickup.
Would consider trading for 1913 parts building a speedster going to need alot of smalls and specific stuff

Hello Karl,
A Ruckstell needs to be precise and tight. It can be very costly to build a dependable one. I have five Ruckstell gear carriages apart on my bench and I am using micrometers and calipers to determine the precise measurements of each part so that I will know which parts to replace. Looking at what you are showing is like looking at a car going by in a parade. If you could provide measurements of the critical wear areas, it would be helpful.

Just a suggestion Karl. You dont need blueprints or original specs. If you have a dial caliper, measure the wear aeas and report. Yiou'll have better responses I think.
