WTB: Vaporizer for 27

Post by michaelJT » Fri Feb 09, 2024 2:23 pm

Looking for a good, functioning vaporizer for a 27. Don't need the entire works; just the 'ball' assembly. [see photo].

Can message me at 360 317 6036. TY!

Everything works in theory.

That's called the throttle body - if Joe can't supply, I have a few also.

I noticed something in Michael's photo of which I have never before been aware. T he manifold clamps appear to be held in place with domed head bolts, rather than studs and nuts. Is that a 1927 thing like the domed headbolts.

Hello Allan,
Yes, on the '27, out of desperation, Henry tricked the cars up with nickel plated domed bolts on the front motor mount, water inlet and outlet, head bolts, manifold clamps and valve cover bolts. In todays vernacular, BLING!

I put on some domed exhaust bolts available from the suppliers. They are stainless. Didn't do the domed head bolts though.
