What's rarer than a U & J Carb? How about brand new U & J float valves?

Now finished and going out to the 5 folks who expressed an interest in these

there might be a couple left after satisfying existing requests but there definitely will NOT be another batch...they are not quick or easy to make and as a result, they are not cheap (but compared to what?? who else is offering them??)

If you had expressed an interest in these in the past week or so, check your inbox for my email to you.

Woof - What a mistake!

based on almost no response, these will sure never be made by me again

can't even make back my tooling costs...OUCH.

Made a bunch of choke springs, too, but not even going to begin to offer them - they'll go into my own future restorations

So, lesson learned...no more parts for U & J's much less any other rare carbs...time to devote a little time to Full Flow Float Valves and the rest to Model Railroading!

Scott:
it is sad to think about the perceived notions many people have regarding "cost/value" of items ... the concept of economy in quantity production was demonstrated by Ford's assembly line ...Sadly today , in many cases with our obsolete parts , the potential sales volume seldom justifies the time and materials cost in producing an item ... i have had occasion to feel your pain ... do keep up the good work and maintain a high standard for your own satisfaction ...Gene French

Hi Scott, Maybe it would have been better to have made some parts for the more popular OF carbs. I see some guys asking about parts for their Stromberg OF's recently here?

Nice to see you
