Brand New Cast Zinc starter/generator Brush Holders

Post by AdminJeff » Sun Jul 07, 2024 12:15 am

After months of tweaking and fiddling and back and forth modifying engineering drawings, molds and testing samples, they are finally done. They are perfect in every way. I even snuck my MTS logo in at the last minute.

Set of 4 large brush holders, meticulously copied and cast from durable Zinc instead of the weak, crack-prone, stripped threads, pot metal used in the original parts. Comes with predrilled and tapped #6 stanchions. Eight (8) #6 x 3/8″ tapered screws are included. Uses your original backing plates. Perfect fit guaranteed.

NOTE:: Stanchions are the correct length for the insulated brush holders. If you are using them on the grounded brush holders, just use a sander, grinding wheel or file to reduce their length slightly for a perfect fit.

I'm also right in the middle of reproducing both the starter and generator springs as well as the steel backing plates and all the FRP insulators. Ultimately it will all be packaged as a complete rebuild kit including a 2ml vial of Loctite.
