I'm looking for a period "tilt flat bed" not "box" for a model TT truck, interested in just the bed assy. or a project truck if need be.
I would prefer the crank style elevation, not gravity style.
Thank you Russ.

Russ, I have a disassembled 1920 Grain Dump TT. I have photos of several different TT dump trucks. I would share photos and explanations IF you wanted to BUILD your own tilt/dump bed. I believe I have photos of both wooden and steel beds. Hopefully, they would show you enough detail for a build. My wooden bed was very simple, in my opinion.
Good Luck,
Terry

Russ, My Late best friend was a dump truck fanatic. He searched far and wide for a hand crank dump bed as opposed to a gravity dump. He finally found a Model AA dump bed. He never used it at it was not the same dimensions as a TT. I tried to explain how we could narrow it so it would fit,but it never got done.
You might expand your search to include the AA trucks with respect to needing dimensional adjustments.

This listing has been on Craigslist for awhile. Might be worth checking out.

FYI: That one is a gravity dump box. Looks to be in very good shape from the photos and at a reasonable price IF it's in as good a shape as it looks to be.
Good Luck

Thank you, I will look into the AA option.
That TT on Craigslist has been long sold, it was my inspiration. I tried to buy it on Craigslist but my father was passing of Cancer and I just couldn't "manage" it. The new owner dismantled the truck, I saw the tilt bed assembly on another TT at the Auburn horseless carriage swap meet a few years ago, Not available for sale.

There is another tilt mechanism. This one uses either a chain or cable to hoist the bed. It took me awhile to figure out why they worked the same but with different hoist materials. Cable was used for lighter loads such as in a grain dump bed, while chain was used for dirt/rock dump beds.
I have a cable mechanism and photos of both should you decide to use this type.
