Yesterday I had poke around in my favourite antique shop that has quite a tool selection. I found the top one! This is the only original one I have ever found, and it is really good order.
.The wooden handle has been marked with the initials PMG. In Australia that represents , the Post Master General. Their job was maintaining the postal system and the telephone network, before they were cut up. This will replace the lower one in my 1912 van toolkit. The lower one has a round shaft like the A model screwdriver, but this shaft does not go all the way through the handle. It does have the Ford script though. Anyone know it's correct application? Allan from down under.
