25 years ago that would have been a $200+ hood former… Did someone commit to buy it for $25 and then change their mind? There should have been a half dozen people wanting it the day it was listed !

There was a fella who wanted it but he thought the shipping was too high. This hood former has a lot of surface pitting so I put a very reasonable price on it, but nice and straight , with Bondo work, it could be a very nice put former. I also got it for that from a collector here and that’s how I sell things pretty much what I bought them for.

These used to be “as good as gold” at one time and highly sought after. This hood former is the only commercially unavailable item needed to turn your 1917-1922 into a “brass era” car…
