1909 original pair running boards.

Post by ModelT46 » Thu Jun 13, 2019 3:45 pm

I have for sale a nice pair of 1909 running boards. They are the steel ones with the long ridges. I have had them since the 1950s. They probably were taken off when a pair of NOS were found. Solid with smooth up side. the bottoms are not as smooth. The repaint is as found. The square holes are sharp and no extra holes. They are a bit bowed with a slight warp. I will post photos later today. They are $450 (pair) plus shipping costs.

ARE THERE NOT THAT MANY real 1909s being restored?. The very first had wood boards cover with grey material. The 1910 came out in early August and the boards had a different pattern. Is there anyone out there that has a 1909 without correct original running boards?
