I found this on local Facebook. I have NO connection with the seller or the sale of this car. Car is on shortened frame with narrowed front and rear axles. Radiator shell says DE SOTO on it. I have to agree, DAN, the narrowed axles would decrease stability, especially on turns, but even with a stock engine, can you imagine how fast this thing would go? With some speed equipment, this thing would be a death trap.

A "styled" doodlebug?

The short wheelbase world make it a handful to say the least. It looks like a doodle bug or something modern.

Looks more a Model T that was converted into a tractor, that was then converted into a speedster/racer.

I agree, it’s a clown car. They don’t necessarily have to do wheelies, they used to race around the big top or parade chasing other clowns and looking ridiculous. May even be made from a former race car body. Who knows. I can envision a bunch of keystone cops trying to catch a speeder, and the tables get turned and the speeder starts chasing them.

Put a little weight behind the rear axle and it would wheelie.

Pat, I don't know how big a driver this rig would accommodate, but it looks like a big driver over 200 pounds might have a problem even sitting in it. That said, the bulk of the weight of the driver is behind the rear axle as can be seen in the photos, so, yes, I'm sure wheelies are very possible.
