For Sale-Rebuilt Model T Ford Starting Motor.

Post by Ron Patterson » Thu Jan 17, 2019 12:33 pm

Just completed rebuilding five starters, four have been spoken for and one is available for sale. This won’t last long, if you are interested respond quickly. It is very unusual for me to have rebuilt starters in stock and my normal rebuilding lead time is six months.
Completely rebuilt. Each major part (brush cap, case, mounting bracket and armature) fully disassembled and reworked. Brushcap with rebuilt brushplate and sealed ball bearing conversion, rebuilt field winding installed with new silver soldered terminal bolt, rebushed and align reamed mounting bracket, Bendix stop nut running area rebushed, armature electrically tested, mechanically checked and refinished commutator. Dynamically tested to meet original Ford specifications for current draw, speed and torque. If you have any questions about this rework process call or send me an email and I will be happy to provide complete details. You will be required to send me one good usable starter core in the shipping box I provide. Price $375 plus UPS shipping. Please call or email me directly. I do not respond to classified advertising follow up questions posted here.
