I took this off my 1926 Roadster I’m restoring. I’d like to trade this to someone towards a set of 6561X side lamps for my 1922 touring car. I could sell it too. I’m keeping the fan blades.
I’ll be at Hershey on Wednesday if you would like to meet.
Send me an email if you’re interested.

Before I read this, I thought, good deal trading an oddball part for a car!

Hi Adam! Does it seem like those plugs in the front would mount a water temp sender or is it some kind of tensioner? Maybe hoses out for a heater? Have you tried removing those? Did you run the car with that outlet and did the fan belt slip off or ride up against the front or back of the pulley? Those brackets can be “droopy” after so many years, but I’d like to buy it if you don’t find a trade. Thanks! -Chris, in Boulder

I believe it's the remnants of an accessory water circulator.
