I use a end grain piece of wood for the punch.

I believe I have two lift a dot punches, but I will check in the morning. If I have two, I could let one go.

Mike, I have an extra punch as shown in the photos. There is surface rust, but the cutting edges are sharp and it doesn't look like it's never seen hammer. I'll PM you.
