Front plate magneto drive, complete accessory

Post by Dropacent » Sat Jul 13, 2019 8:39 am

This is a very nice Eismann front plate cross drive for the model T. These will work with any of the period magnetos of the day, Bosch,Dixie, splitdorf,Apollo, and of course, eismann. These were identical to the Matco brand, but private labeled for eismann. I have a couple nice eismann magnetos I can sell separately, also several DU4 Bosch, and a real nice Apollo with a great on/off switch labeled Apollo. This front plate is complete with the gears and special cam drive nut, and is $500 SHIPPING INCLUDED !! If you would like one of the magneto options, let’s discuss. If you have a mag already, you are set to go. Use this on a generator equipped engine, or the earlier style without the generator, it works on both. Outstanding for a reliable ignition source, easy to get to, and makes a great setup on a regular T or a fancy speedster. Add up what it costs to get a rebuilt mag ring, coil box, coils, and you are money way ahead with these. Keep a spare magneto in the tool box ( you never need it, just like a vampire kit ) and you will never be stranded. Tmorsher@icloud.com to reach me.

Hello Tim,
I find you have disabled your PM receipt ?
I acquired one of these magneto drives some time ago out of a shed where it had sat for goodness knows how long. Sadly the drive gear was missing and I assume still attached to a cam shaft or motor unit long gone from the property.
Could I ask you to email me a few pictures of the gear and a sketch placing dimensions on it ? Overall diameter, diameter at root of teeth, thickness, number of teeth, details of the center boss etc ?
Any chance of a clear picture straight on to the edge, showing teeth ?

Hoping you feel inclined to help ?

Thanks
